Ernesto São Simão Lda., with the support of Fundo Ambiental of the Ministry of the Environment, developed a project with the intention of promoting a transition towards the Circular Economy.

 

The PP Circle Project consists of a Circular Economy project that aims to promote the massive use of recycled polypropylene in order to achieve the long-term vision of polypropylene production through polypropylene ("PP from PP"), contributing to the end of the marine litter and reducing carbon emissions. This view corresponds to the end of the use of nonrenewable fossil resources as the basis of the production of this polymer.

 

This project will act in four strategic axes - Guarantee; Educate; Produce; Aggregate - based on three business opportunities and will have its official start in early 2018.
